Aspen is a 7 years old spayed female who is microchipped and spayed. She was rescued from an abusive situation (owner in jail). During her ordeal one eye received trauma and she cannot see out of it. Aspen is an amazing dog and her eye doesn't seem to phase her much. She was 40 pounds at rescue, however she likes to eat and has put on a bit more weight at the vets. She is making up for her life of being chained outside and starved. She is a mellow girl, a bit more lively than Alpine who is totally subdued. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She wants lots of love. She and the other dog who was rescued were both treated for heart worm and are just waiting for their tests to turn Negative so she can be adopted and start her new life. She is good with dogs, but deserves to be #1 in her new home. She was not tested with cats, is friendly with visiting children. Apply at
