Weston, 1 - 2 years old Male Golden Retriever

Weston is a male Golden Retriever and weighs around 60-65#, is 1-2 yrs old and a really nice dog.
He was neutered on June 16th. He is very friendly with people or other dogs. He is fine in the car, used to being inside and if walked regularly, has no accidents. He is super friendly....got in the car as soon as the animal rescue worker stopped and opened the door! He was found running down a 4 lane highway so the rescue worker stopped, opened her door, and he jumped right in. He was loaded with ticks so had been living outside or running for awhile. He likes being inside where it's cool and loves loves attention. He has an occasional limp from an old injury. The vet doesn't think it's anything to be concerned over, but his adopters might want to check it out. It doesn't slow him down. He will jump up on you for attention, but can be taught not to do that. Because of the jumping, we suggest no children under ten as he could probably knock a small child down. He will be arriving from TN in mid-July and after a brief quarrantine will be available for adoption. No phone calls please as many of our volunteers are on vacation and those of us who are not need to work on getting the dogs already with us placed. Thanks for your consideration.
