Rusty, 10 Years Male Long-haired Dachshund Rusty is the SWEETEST dog and such a happy boy. He seems pretty healthy too. Don't let his age scare you off because he has a lot to offer. He's a 10 year old long-haired Dachshund whose owner came upon hard times and had to move into a place that wouldn't take dogs. Up until recently he got good care. Rusty was turned into a shelter after his owner lost his housing and couldn't find a place to live that allowed dogs. He has been well loved and is neutered. When times were better they went to the groomer and doggy day care to play with other dogs. He is good in the car and good with all types of people and children. Please give Rusty a chance. His adoption fee is reduced. He is now groomed and his coat is so soft. The groomer said the coat is healthy and will grow out beautifully.
