FLOWER WILL NOT BE AT TUESDAY'S MEET AND GREET NOV 1 AS SHE'S GETTING SPAYED. Flower is a beautiful Lab mix. Flower and Thumper were abandoned on a logging road. Loggers were feeding them and then called Lumberjack Rescue. A shelter worker went out to look for them and found them curled up on a shirt in a ditch with some food and water the loggers had left for them. She weighs 26 lbs and is from Louisiana. Estimated available after 10/25/16.
Flower's foster mom writes:
A bit fearful about at first but still curious and warms up quickly once she realizes there is nothing to fear
-Has never been aggressive when scared
-Gets along with all the dogs and even knows to give my grumpy female space
-Loves the water
-Completely lights up when other dogs are around. Definitely gets her confidence when she see the others dogs are fine
-Loves her bully sticks and soft toys
-Never had an accident in the house and went to the bathroom outside pretty quickly
-Knows sit and is quickly picking up lay down
-Sleeps in my bed and must curl up right next to my face
-Although I let her sleep in my bed she is totally fine with the crate. Never makes a peep especially when she has her toys in there
