UPDATE: Our vet examined Lily's leg and it seems fine. She had a play date with two other Labs and we think she overdid it. Many of these dogs who have been in boarding don't get the large muscle exercise that it takes to have long play dates, so please keep that in mind with any dog over 3. Lily is a middle-aged dog, but loves her walks. She is a sweet six year old Chocolate Lab. Her foster mom says she enjoys exploring while on walks, and she walks well on leash, no pulling. She wants to greet everyone passing by and is friendly with both male and female dogs. She’ll notice a squirrel but is easily redirected.
In the house, Lily is well behaved, no chewing on shoes or socks (as some labs do) she has a favorite squeaky lamb chop toy that she’ll pick up and carry in her mouth while wiggling with joy. Lily would make a great companion while you work from home, as she chills on her bed several times in a day. She is totally housebroken and is generally a chill dog. She does not like cats. We think she never met one before.
