Maple is a GORGEOUS 3 year old Silver Lab mix from Louisiana. At 43 lbs. she is the perfect size - small enough to cuddle on the couch with you. She lived with other dogs her whole life and is submissive, sweet, and absolutely adorable. Her owner was an elderly lady who was caring for eight dogs and could barely care for herself. She finally had to go live with her son and LAMA in Lousiana took in the dogs. They are at capacity so we are helping take some of their dogs even though we are full as well. Adoptions are slow right now, but if you can adopt now, you would be helping us to make room to bring more dogs out of the cold.
