Jack was adopted first, but Jill has a best friend at the shelter, Nova, and they play together every day. LOLA 'TWO', ~ 13 years Female Chihuahua Click on picture to enlarge Apply To Adopt Lola is a senior Chihuahua who was relinquished from a local owner who gave her up due to ill health. Lola was born on 4/13/2013, which puts her at 13 years old. Our vet examined her and she needed an emergency dental because her teeth were rotted. Fortunately, she was able to get that surgery quickly. Her last 5 teeth were removed due to disease and she was treated for an ear infection. Lola is resting and recuperating in her foster home. Her foster mom says that Lola is feeling so much better and her little Chihuahua personality is emerging! She loves her food, going for walks, and taking lots of naps. Her tail wags almost constantly! She sleeps in her crate at night without a peep. She will use the pee pads but likes going outside to do her business too. He is a local surrender who had some health issues when we took him in, but he's doing great now and he's weaned off his meds. He's a wonderful little dog who deserves a great forever home. He's with a foster right now, and his foster raves about him! She says he's super sweet and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He even gets along with her 80-pound dog. Pippin is 100% housetrained, he walks great on a leash, and he is friendly and patient with children. She was in a foster home in Indiana, and her foster mom says once she settled into home life, she showed herself to be affectionate, smart, and fun-loving. If you're looking for an exercise buddy, she's the best! Bagel loves food and takes to positive reinforcement training with great motivation. She wants to please and learns quickly. She is an energetic girl who has epic zoomies and would love a yard where she could run or the opportunity to get outdoors for hikes and walks. She gets along well with other dogs, but cats are not her thing -- her play style can be overwhelming for them. She rides well in the car and is fully housetrained and crate trained. She can be unsure about loud noises and sudden movements, so older kids and a quiet neighborhood would be best for her. She is a brave girl who mostly just wants to be with her humans. He has met other dogs at the rescue and seems to like them, too. He's in a foster home now and is a very well behaved, happy boy. His foster mom says he is an affectionate cuddlebug who wants to be where his people are. He loves to go on walks and is working on his leash training.
