I weigh 10 pounds right now and probably won’t get much bigger. I want to play with everyone, even cats! I’ve got a lot of energy and ride well in the car, so I’d be excited to go on adventures. I do well at the vet and groomer, I’m housetrained, and I sleep all night on my dog bed. I’m very sweet and very smart, and I absolutely adore people. I’m good with other dogs my size, and although I can be intimidated by bigger dogs at first, with slow introductions I’m happy to become friends. Travis is an adorable with month old mixed breed who was picked up in Louisiana. He is super friendly, outgoing, loves the car, and is great on walks. He loves everyone he meets! Travis came in very thin and he's gaining weight -- he loves his food and now weighs 38 lbs. Like most of the Louisiana dogs we get, his past is pretty unknown, but all the volunteers rave about what a great dog he is. He loves to chase a ball and will sometimes bring it back. He's a fast learner! He loves his pup cups and all the attention he is getting from the volunteers. He is available after NOW. She's the perfect size at 39 pounds - not too big and not too small. She was a Louisiana stray and heartworm negative, so she's ready for her new home. Sissy might be younger than two as she still has puppy chewing behaviors. She loves to play and would be great for someone who wants a dog who likes playing fetch, and going on walks, but she'll settle in a dog bed if you're sitting at the computer or watching TV. She is fully house-trained and sleeps in her crate through the night. She's a very sweet dog who gets along with everyone in her foster family, including their two small dogs. Bristol, 4 months Female Shepherd / Collie  Mix   Click on picture to enlarge Adoption in Progress GREAT WITH CATS!!! Bristol is a beautiful 18-week-old female Shepherd mix with the sweetest personality and the most adorable little details, from the soft gray coloring on her face to the fluffy little tufts around her ears that make her impossible not to pet. This smart girl has been settling wonderfully into her foster home. Bristol is already making great progress with house training and crate training. She happily goes in on her own and sleeps through the night like a champ! Her foster mom says that, for a young puppy, Bristol has been impressively respectful in the house. She's learning what's hers to chew and responds well when redirected, showing just how eager she is to learn. Bristol is currently fostered with other dogs and a cat and is friendly and respectful of them all. She recently attended a busy graduation party with lots of new people and younger kids and did amazingly well!
