GINGER HAS BONDED VERY TIGHTLY WITH HER LONG-TERM FOSTER DAD AND WILL JOIN HIM AS A FOREVER FAMILY MEMBER, WOO HOO! I'm Ginger, a 3-year-old, 43-pound Lab/Bully mix. I'm a beautiful girl with a shiny black coat and amber eyes. I came into rescue when my elderly owner could no longer care for me; now I'm in a foster home, and my foster mom raves about me! I'm sweet, gentle, quiet, and submissive. I'm very affectionate, and I love hanging out with my people. I'm also well behaved: I'm house trained, crate trained, good in the car, and good with all handling. I'm non-destructive in the home, and I sleep quietly through the night. I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home, and I really enjoy going on walks. It takes me a moment to overcome my initial shyness, but once I feel connected to you, I'll be your friend for life. I'm recovering from an injury and am seeing a chiropractor in Framingham. I hope to find a loving home who will adopt me and see me through my therapy and recovery. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

Adopted

This beautiful three year old female Norwich Terrier mix (with maybe a little Corgi mixed in for extra charm!) came to rescue from Louisiana after being surrendered while pregnant. She made the journey north, where she safely welcomed and lovingly raised seven beautiful puppies. Thanks to her devoted care, her babies have grown into happy, healthy pups and are beginning their own adventures. Now it's finally her turn. Goldie is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She loves being close to her people and happily soaks up all the attention you're willing to give. Whether she's curled up beside you enjoying a quiet afternoon or chasing a ball around the yard, she's simply happiest when she's spending time with the people she loves. She has a wonderful balance of calm and playful. One moment she's content relaxing at your feet, and the next she's ready for a game of fetch or some outdoor fun. Her sweet nature and easygoing personality make her a great fit for many different homes. Whether you're a family looking for a loving companion or a single person searching for a best friend, Goldie is ready to fill your home with love, companionship, and plenty of tail wags. After dedicating herself to raising her puppies, she deserves a forever family that will cherish her as much as she has cared for everyone around her. She's a really nice dog who has been in rescue for awhile due to no fault of her own. She loves to fetch a ball and does zoomies outside in the yard and then is calm inside. She stays off the furniture. She is not destructive. She likes belly rubs but is not real needy. She's just a happy girl. One of our volunteers took her for a ride. She rode well in the car and was very excited to go for an adventure. Did a ton of sniffing, did not pull on her leash, met a few people and two Golden retrievers. Maverick is a SUPER NICE DOG! Maverick is a very affectionate one-year-old Chocolate Lab mix who is a very easy keeper. He loves people and dogs and wants to be friends with everyone. He is working on his leash manners, and because he is extremely food motivated, he a joy to train. This intelligent boy is quick to learn your routine and adjusts to it. For a Lab mix he is quite low key and doesn't need a lot of exercise, though he's up for a hike if you are! He sleeps in his bed through the night and wakes up between 6 am and 7 a.m. He wants to spend his day stretched out next to his humans, making him a great work-from-home companion. He loves playing with his toys, but he's usually done in about ten minutes and settles down for a nap. Maverick is fully housetrained and rides very well in the car. He's just a big goofy boy looking for his humans to shower them with love and affection! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and we will get right back to you.

https://youtube.com/shorts/_DtdFRv-B2Q?feature=share

His foster family says, "He’s a fully house-trained, smart, and food-motivated dog who is already learning tricks and eager to please. He does great in the car, even on longer rides (he handled an hour each way with no issues), and has been excellent on walks, both with new people and other dogs. At home, he settles nicely and sleeps in a dog bed at the foot of the bed, only hopping up in the morning to let you know he’s ready to go outside. He has a nice balance of energy, happily going from playful to relaxed, but he is still in his chewing phase, so a dog-proofed home and supervision are important. He hasn’t spent much time in a crate and does tend to bark when crated, so that’s an area that would benefit from continued training. He’s an early riser, usually up around 6 AM, but also settles easily for the night and is happy to go to bed as early as 9 PM. He met our elderly mom and her cat and was great with both of them."
