Dear Shirley,
It has been 1 year since we brought Henry home with us, and I have to say he is such a
good boy. His separation anxiety has diminished and is controllable with distracting
treats as we exit, we find him sleeping when we return. He has welcomed a little whipper
snapper named Shamrock we rescued from Second Chance Boxer in New York into our home, and
now has a 4 legged playmate. Since Shamrock arrived, Henry has stopped stealing socks and
such to play with. Even though he weighs 50 lbs more, they enjoy wrestling and playing keep
away in the back yard.
I constantly feel like calling the family that abandon him, to tell them they lost a great
dog. He is always complimented by our guests, and he is so friendly. He is very protective
of me and the children, kind of does a "Lassie" thing by placing himself between us and
any perceived danger.
I couldn't be prouder or happier to have Henry with us, he is such a love. And on this
anniversary of his coming to our home from yours, I want to say thank you.
I am also sorry to hear about Ashley, you did a wonderful memorial page for her.
I remember her from our visit, and we are sorry for your loss.
Thank you again for saving this fine boy, I will try and send a piture for you soon.
Best regards,
Debra, Brian, Lucas, Bridget, Henry & Shamrock Crowley
