I adoped Jack from Save A Dog in July 2003 and wanted to give you an update on our status.

Jack and I moved to California only a month after I adopted him in 2003 and had a great run. The weather was beautiful, but we were both pretty lonely out there being that my family lived in MA. So, 6 months ago, we moved back to MA and we're now living in Needham. While we were living in California, my parents adopted two Chinese Crested Powderpuffs of their own because they loved how wonderful and good natured Jack is. So, now that we are back here Jack is THRILLED to be only a few miles from his new best friends (and family), Scout & Kiki. He has playdates at least 3 times a week and we alternate sleepovers.

I wanted to let you know how we are doing and thank you again for bringing Jack into my life. He's a very special boy.

He is doing so much better... he's coming when I call him and goes over by the door when he needs to go out (no more pooping inside!). He seems a lot happier... i think he just needed time... and still needs more time to adjust, but he's coming around. I've seen a lot of improvements recently and also whenever I lay in bed with him, he snuggles his nose inbetween my neck and my shoulder... he just nestles in there... so cute.

Note from Shirley: Jack was a very timid and unsocialized dog when we took him in. I am amazed at how much he has blossomed. He and Heather have since moved to CA and he's enrolled in agility classes. What a success story!
