How much can happen in the space of 4 months?? I know you've been down in New Orleans and elsewhere working very hard. I can't imagine how difficult this has been for you. But I did want you to know that we have been worked very hard with Shadow (prev. known as Garrett) and that, after a bit of bumpy start, he is our love machine - however, we occasionally call him "The Beast". I did not officially use the clicker but used the basic concept and it has proved very successful!!! He and Suki do nothing but play and play and play -- chase, tug-of-war, hide-and--attack, endlessly. Both of them love the water, at least up to their knees.... and then they lie down in it. We can't wait to see what the winter brings. Shadow is now trim and a happy little clam dog and, along with the cat, we are a very happy family of 6.
